I am familiar with all aspects of the case. Then I can consider both the legal and the commercial aspects in close consultation with the client. This creates the best results and ensures that the solution which is best from a legal point of view can be pursued, unless it overshadows the solution which is best from a commercial point of view.
Labour and employment law and personal data protection are about people. You have to respect that. That is why I do my best work when I am invited inside the client's world. There, based on the client's situation, I can help find the right solution tailored to the client, using my many years of experience of how other clients have managed to find good solutions to their problems.
It can be difficult for foreign enterprises to understand our over 100-year-old Danish labour market tradition for collective agreements. Other countries do not have mechanisms resembling those at work in Denmark. My knowledge and experience in this area help me create an understanding of this type of bargaining in an international environment. Part of my experience comes from working with at an international law firm where I advised multinational companies on a daily basis. I also gained valuable experience from my employment with the employers' associations, which gave me a unique insight into labour law; an area of great importance in Denmark. I am also used to dealing with virtually all types of issues involving most labour unions in Denmark.
I work with ...
labour law as well as employment law and have been doing so for 18 years now, advising on virtually all aspects of this area while acting as a sparring partner, legal advisor and counsel in cases before the courts, the industrial arbitration tribunals and the various boards.
I also work with personal data protection. Most enterprises already spend a great amount of time and resources on compliance with the legal requirements for personal data protection, and that will only increase in the next few years. I have advised many enterprises on the handling and processing of personal data – both Danish enterprises and large multinational groups of enterprises. Currently, only two lawyers in Denmark hold the most important international certificate for data protection advisors in the EU. I hold that certificate, and I am therefore a strong sparring partner to clients in this area.
In recent years, I have also been a member of a large international network of data protection professionals, and I have participated in a large number of different international compliance projects regarding both HR and personal data protection.
